TERMS AND CONDITIONS – SANSA TICKETS

1. Regulations and Limited Liability

The rules and liability limitations are established by the Civil Aviation Authority of Costa Rica. The Company reserves the right to cancel or postpone a flight without liability when required to meet priority obligations (such as the transfer of sick or injured persons)‚ adverse weather conditions‚ or any other circumstance deemed necessary to ensure passenger safety or protect the Company’s interests. Therefore‚ the Company does not guarantee transportation of the passenger on the exact date and time indicated on the ticket or a specific flight. Furthermore‚ the Company reserves the right to deny boarding to passengers who present abnormal conditions that may pose a safety risk to other passengers or create operational difficulties.

The Company is not responsible for missed connections with other airlines‚ regardless of whether delays‚ cancellations‚ or changes arise from internal or external causes.

2. Ticket Conditions

Tickets are issued in the name of a specific passenger and are non-transferable‚ non-endorsable‚ and non-refundable. The airline may verify passenger identity at any time.

Costa Rican citizens and residents: A valid and undamaged government-issued ID (Identity Card‚ Minor’s Card‚ or equivalent) must be presented. This applies especially to passengers traveling under the "local" fare; otherwise‚ fare differences may apply.

Foreign passengers: A valid passport is the only accepted form of identification.

Sansa does not permit the transport of dangerous goods‚ including but not limited to: aerosols‚ flammable‚ explosive‚ toxic‚ or corrosive materials‚ sharp objects‚ or any other item the airline deems unsuitable for air transport.

3. Changes and Cancellation Policies

All tickets are non-refundable under any circumstances. Conditions regarding changes or cancellations will depend on the fare purchased‚ and the applicable rules will be those indicated on the ticket and/or confirmation of purchase.

 4. Loss or Damage of Baggage

In case of lost or damaged baggage‚ the Company’s liability will not exceed the fare paid for the affected segment‚ unless a higher liability amount has been agreed to in writing and paid for in advance. Fragile or delicate items will be accepted as special luggage without liability for damage‚ deterioration‚ or partial or total loss.

5. Waivers

By using the transportation ticket‚ the passenger expressly accepts and waives any claims contrary to the conditions stated herein.

6. Check-in and Reconfirmations

Passengers must check in at least 55 minutes prior to departure for domestic flights and 2 hours prior for international flights. The Company may cancel a reservation and classify it as a no-show if the passenger has not presented themselves at the airline counter 50 minutes before domestic flights or 2 hours before international flights.

7. Luggage Allowances

Luggage allowance and conditions are subject to the type of ticket purchased. The applicable rules will be those indicated on the ticket and/or confirmation of purchase.

 8. Itineraries

All itineraries are subject to change without prior notice. The Company assumes no responsibility for delays‚ early departures‚ suspensions‚ or cancellations caused by force majeure‚ unforeseen events‚ adverse weather‚ mechanical difficulties‚ or any other reason deemed necessary for safety or operational protection of the Company.

In addition‚ the Company does not assume responsibility for missed or affected connections with other flights or carriers under any circumstances. Passengers are solely responsible for planning sufficient time between flights.
