TERMS AND CONDITIONS CARGO AND COURIER

 
 


1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

By using the parcel and cargo services provided by Servicios Aéreos Nacionales S.A‚ the sender accepts the indicated Terms and Conditions in full.

 

2. Airline Liability

SANSA undertakes to transport both parcels and entrusted cargo in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.

SANSA's liability is limited in accordance with the established terms and conditions in this document.

The airline will be exempt from liability in case of loss or damage caused by the improper packaging; for the delay in collecting or delivering when it is due
to the user who sends the order and/or cargo.


3. Type of Service

3.1 Parcels

Packages that have a low volume and weight are considered parcels‚ which can range from car keys to boxes that do not exceed the following measurements:
1 meter high‚ 1.10 meters wide and 60 centimeters deep.

3.2 Cargo

Cargo is considered to be merchandise that has a large volume and weight that require greater planning in their logistics.


4. Packaging and Labeling

The user is responsible for ensuring that the parcel and/or cargo is correctly packaged and labeled‚ each package must be legibly and durably marked
including the full address of the destination.

In the event that the package shows signs of damage or deterioration‚ SANSA reserves the right to receive said package.


5. Delivery Time and Delays

The airline provides estimated delivery times‚ however‚ it does not guarantee delivery times.

Delivery of parcels and/or cargo will be accepted subject to availability of schedules and space on the aircraft.

In the event of a delay‚ SANSA will notify and take appropriate measures.


6. International Shipping

Packages whose value does not exceed $500 dollars will be accepted‚ therefore‚ the user must verify and declare the real value of the parcel to be sent.

SANSA reserves the right not to accept parcels whose value is considered to be greater than $500 dollars.


7. Acceptability of Goods

Under no circumstances will SANSA accept goods classified as 'Dangerous' for transportation in the parcel or cargo service.

If the parcel or cargo to be sent is within the following categories‚ it cannot be transported:

7.1 Explosives

7.2 Gases

7.3 Flammable liquids

7.4 Flammable solids

7.5 Oxidizing substances and organic peroxides

7.6 Toxic and infectious substances

7.7 Radioactive material

7.8 Corrosive substances

7.9 Miscellaneous (dangerous substances and articles)

 

8. Prices and Rates

The user must pay the price of the parcel and cargo services in accordance with current SANSA rates.

SANSA reserves the right to charge additional fees on the services provided.


9. Returns and Claims

The user must report any loss or damage to the airline within a period of 48 hours for parcels
and 72 hours for cargo‚ this time begins to run once the service is completed.

Claims will be processed in accordance with the procedures established by SANSA.

 

10. Required Documents

The user must provide complete and accurate documentation of the cargo being transported‚ including customs requirements if necessary.

The documentation must include the number of pieces‚ exact dimensions and weight of what is being carried.


11. Cancellations and Changes

SANSA reserves the right to charge cancellation or change fees in the cargo service. If you need to make a change to a reservation‚ you must follow
the procedures specified by the airline.
